Licensing Manager

  • develop strategic partnerships and new revenue opportunities that align with Edwin the Duck’s brand promise
  • enable strategic partnerships to effectively utilize the SQUACK™ technology platform within their products and brand
  • direct inbound and outbound licensing strategy to achieve ecosystem success for SQUACK technology and interactive entertainment
  • lead team in management of licensed and third party content development partnerships throughout full contract lifecycle
  • identify and develop new revenue opportunities through analysis of potential mergers & acquisitions, inventor relations, outbound licensing strategy, digital strategy and new platform opportunities
  • analyze trends and identify potential partnerships to inform technology usage in future products
  • cross-functional leadership with existing internal teams

 

R&D Manager

  • drive technology development including but not limited to firmware, hardware engineering, and prototyping
  • develop and lead technical innovation projects with internal and external teams
  • assist with licensing and partnership evaluations
  • support the sales and marketing teams with prototypes and demonstrations
  • skills used include leadership, management, strategic planning, IT and software architecture, design, budgeting, and change management

 

Operation/HR Manager

  • maintains and performs audits of FSA, 401k, SS, work comp, and all personnel contracts
  • responsible for annual open enrollment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • oversees all employee benefits, COBRA, work comp, payroll/withholding taxes, 401K and FSA sign-ups and payroll deductions
  • manage employee relations, hiring, and termination
  • manage A/P and A/R
  • approve expense reports according to company policy
  • oversee compliance of legal business registrations
  • facilitates coverage for international and stateside employees

 

Sales/Account Manager

  • develop new accounts and manage existing accounts to ensure long-term success for pi lab and its customers
  • report monthly and quarterly progress and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • forecast and track key account metrics
  • collaborate with sales team and identify growth opportunities
  • communicate initiatives and status to multiple levels of the organization
  • develop client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • negotiate supplier and reseller contract terms
  • strong verbal and written communication skills required

 

Strategic Sourcing Manager: Hong Kong or China

  • lead strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement program implementation in Asia
  • work closely with operations to support strategic sourcing projects, ODM/OEM projects, and strategic customer bids
  • manage the sourcing deals, contracts, delivery and quality for a complete procurement cycle, actualizing the commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P&L level while ensuring on time delivery with the suppliers
  • evaluate and lead in the eSourcing tools as part of the P2P leverage
  • provide support to projects from managing the product/supplier sourcing to fulfilling supplier delivery and quality
  • identify cost saving opportunities and operational excellence
  • develop best practices and work with Finance and IT to enhance the ERP set up
  • works with the regional product teams for identification of strategic suppliers and OEM partners for HVAC, Controls, energy solutions and Services
  • reviews and negotiates supply contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other terms and conditions
  • drive lower costs, superior performance, and continuous improvement

Experience criteria

    • bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, materials management, supply chain management or related field. MBA or LLM preferred
    • minimum of 5 years of experience in commodity sourcing
    • familiar with customer bidding process and suppliers
    • experience in managing OEM activities and order management operations in desired
    • experience with sourcing from China and supplier quality assessment
    • fluent in English and Mandarin
